UIS has implemented a cloud-based solution to help protect the University’s critical business systems against distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks. We’ll use Cloudflare, our chosen solution, to monitor and protect the main University website in the first instance, and investigate the possibility of expanding its coverage to include other websites in future.
A more efficient helpdesk service, regular IT updates and a programme to replace old computers have been planned in response to feedback from UAS staff.
The University Training Booking System (UTBS) received a major upgrade in September, including a facelift, mobile responsiveness and efficiency improvements requested by end users.
