eduroam certificate renewal and Windows mobile devices

How to reconfigure your Windows mobile device, following the renewal of the University's eduroam certificate at 07:30, Monday 18 January 2016.

When you try to connect to eduroam for the first time following the renewal of the University's security certificate, your Windows mobile devices will display an alert and prompt you to confirm the new certificate.

An alert will appear briefly at the top of the screen - tap Connect to go to the WiFi settings page:

If you miss this alert, a message will remain in the Notifications area, visible by swiping down from the top of the screen - you can tap Connect on this to go to the WiFi settings page :

Alternatively, you can manually go into the WiFi settings page (Settings - System - WiFi).  Shortly after arriving on this screen, your phone should try to reconnect to eduroam and display the following message, asking you to confirm the certificate:

Confirm the certificate is for network.tokens.csx.cam.ac.uk and is issued by QuoVadis Global SSL ICA G2 and select accept and to reconnect.

You will only need to do this once, following the change.
